Bayview Community Services incorporated in 1983 as a not for profit organization which exclusively offered supported housing in one location. Over the years the services offered have increased to two supported group homes, five case managers, a partnership with North York General Hospital - Access to Resources and Community Services Program, and peer lead groups. Bayview is funded by the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care and adheres to the Multi Sector Services Agreement.
Who Are Our Clients?
Bayview's clients are adults with severe and prolonged mental illness ages 16 - 65.
Who Are Our Staff?
We employ eleven direct service staff who are the heart of the organization. They provide case management, housing support, and administration services in 6 languages.
Who Are Our Donors?
People who care about mental health, are community oriented, and want to invest in a small not for profit that has a big impact. Donations assist with under funded programs and services.
Who Are Our Volunteers?
Bayview's Board of Directors is comprised of 12 members from the private sector who are program ambassadors, advisors, and experts. They focus on visioning and planning for growth and overseeing that day to day operations are conducted according organizational policies.
